New to me!

Up until last night I had never heard of "Tablescapes". But as I have been hopping about from blog to blog these past couple of nights I landed at a blog and discovered Tablescapes!
All I can say is WOW, they are beautiful. I don't have the room for storing all the dishes etc used, but it is lovely to go and browse these blogs. Maybe I will still give it a try though.
Off for another search. :-)

  1. Oh man Ann, you hit a soft spot with me. Years and years ago I was in hotel and restaurant management and was fortunate to work for Hershey. They had a resort in the Poconos, PA USA and I was happy to have their premier 5 star restaurant, A Touch of Vanilla featured in Wine Spectator and Food and Wine magazine. We took it to the next level and entered many tablescape completions and won many awards for the restaurant. We had nearly $10,000 worth of settings that showed very well BUT my flower and fauna displays always took the cake. I still set a killer table and do arrangements for our pleasure and others. My wife says it's my feminine creative side even through I'm about as manly as they come. Just goes to show, you can't judge a book by it's cover! I love a nicely set table. It frames my deliciously prepared food. Oh, did I mention, I love to cook too? I'm quite a catch, just ask my wife, lol!
