Our older daughter, SIL and middle 2 little granddaughters are up for a wedding today of the granddaughters aunty. We were not at the wedding but we went along to see our granddaughters at the church. We would have been going to the evening reception tonight but as we have a B&B guest in we are unable to go.
Our granddaughters are the 2 youngest ones you can see here in the ivory dresses.
A cold day, but it was dry and no snow or high winds so that was a very big plus for a January wedding.
I lost count of how many grown up bridesmaids there were but theses are a few of them.
A lovely shade of purple for them, our granddaughters were carrying see through heart shaped bags with purple and ivory large petals inside, lovely and unusual, and purple head bands in their hair, they have on ivory tights with flowers on them and ivory shoes WITH HEELS. Only low stubby type heels but to them they are heels, lol bless.
And the piper warming up before the wedding party arrived.

Oo, I love that purple! Cute grandaughters!

Oh lovely.
ReplyDeleteWe've been invited to a Scottish wedding in September and would dearly love to go with our daughter who thinks of Scotland as a second home. I've heard such stories of what fun they are and I'm very partial to men in kilts !!(My Tony looks fantastic in them !!)
Cheers
