We are back from our week in Madeira. Mixed weather but at least when it did rain it was still warm. Out of our week away we had about a day and a half of rain, but that didn't really stop us, the last full day there rained on and off with a very choppy atlantic, so much so that we sat with our beer/wine outside a cafe but sheltered and watched the waves crashing onto the sea wall and rocks, some of the waves were 30m high, nature put on a free show for all that day.
A ride on the cable cars was wonderful and a lovely day for that with some beautiful views on the way up and at the top.
A trip up to Nuns Valley on another day, again the weather was great although it rained for a little while at the top but still got great views. Middle and bottom photographs are of Nuns Valley.
And guess who forgot to take the camera on holiday? there it was waiting next to the laptop for me when we got home, so thank goodness for mobile camera phones which we used a lot and the photographs have turned out well, thank goodness.
Welcome back. Glad you had a good time and managed to get some photos to keep the memories. I would loved to have seen the sea and those monster waves.
