What a difference a couple of days makes. This is the river Ayr now thawed and raging towards the sea, we usually walk under this bridge to town from the car park, but as you can see the water is cascading through the railings. The river is very dangerous looking, the one of the fast flowing water is the same place where the missing railing is in the snowy one in my previous posting, but I was just standing slightly to the left to take this one this morning. We even saw someone standing on that concrete ledge taking photographs.
They did warn there would be some flooding when the thaw came. Hope you won't be affected by that.
