Glasgow City, host of The Commonwealth Games 2014

BBC Television from the rear.
The "Squinty Bridge" over the river Clyde.

The Clyde Auditorium to the left and The Hydro.

Bells bridge with the Clyde Auditorium.

Wednesday 30 July.   On the walk back to get the bus home within the city centre we saw Denise Lewis, Jonathan Edwards and Colin Jackson walking in front of us.  I remember them all from previous Olympics and now commentating on the Commonwealth Games on tv.

  1. Human is up that way next week on her holiday, I'm not going. Looking at those pictures I'm pleased about that. Not much grass is there?
You do get about a lot, Nottingham next huh?

  2. It looks really good. Hope you enjoyed what you saw on telly. I didn't watch a single second of the Games but was glad to hear they had gone so well.
